Even though part of me was happy when I found out I was pregnant, I felt like it was a bad time, and my husband agreed. My first pregnancy ended with a C-section and it took me so long to get back to normal. I didn’t want to go through that again. My visit to Hope helped me see how selfish I was being to think about not going through with the pregnancy. I felt so encouraged by the good advice I received and I asked God to give me courage to tell my husband we were going to receive this child with thanks! We prayed together and asked God to forgive us for not wanting this baby, who is a precious gift from Him. I am so thankful that Hope was there for us as a crucial time in our lives. Christian is a special joy.
