When Tatiana learned she’d gotten pregnant by her fiancé, her biggest fear was having to tell her mom. Tatiana said, “she is a very strict woman and I knew she’d be disappointed.” But after coming to Hope Tatiana said, “everyone was very nice and helpful.

I felt very comfortable here… I was never really planning to not carry my baby to term, but coming to Hope helped me calm down. They gave me an idea of how to break the news to my mom and that’s exactly what I did.”

Tatiana expressed,

The one thing I thought was why abort? This is not the baby’s fault. My fiancé and I knew what we were doing. We knew we could have this baby. We had to stand up and take responsibility.

Tatiana brought in little Elijah to our centers recently. He is 17 months old and cruising.

There are men and women just like Tatiana and her fiancé that come into our centers every day. In Tatiana’s case, as in many cases we see, the father of the baby plays a significant role in the woman’s decision. This year, it is our desire to be there for every man that walks through our doors with a male counselor ready to receive him.

MEN

We are looking for men that would be willing to volunteer in our centers meeting with men that come with their partners. If interested, contact us at 954-372-7089.
