Single Mom In Unplanned Pregnancy: Natasha’s Story

Updated: Apr 21, 2023

Originally referred to Hope Women’s Centers from a local doctor, Natasha was not new to the stressful moments of waiting for the results of a pregnancy test. Natasha was already a mom and stressed at the thought of another pregnancy: “Will I make it through the pregnancy? Can I handle another baby, do I want another baby?”

When I found out I was pregnant, I was sad, confused, upset, worried and stressed – all at once! While I did have my beliefs that God will provide and guide me through the pregnancy, it was the care of the staff and the great experience at Hope that gave me the extra encouragement I needed.

The medical center was clean and peaceful and the staff was very nice and respectful. It was also nice not to have a long line to wait in and a lobby full of patients. The wait time was better than going to a typical doctor’s office. The staff at the office doesn’t judge you or treat you like you are nothing.

The services provided at Hope Women’s Centers are really good and helpful. I came back to the same center I visited with a previous pregnancy.

I actually sent two other people to this location that became pregnant after me. I would definitely continue to tell others that might need these services.

Coming to Hope alleviated a lot of stress and helped me to get additional needed services like Medicaid much easier.”

It was so wonderful to meet baby Jadeylnn when Natasha brought her to visit.
