Fabiola came to Hope in 2015, thinking seriously of ending her pregnancy. She was scared and knew she’d have to raise this baby alone. Since she was still dependent on her family, she was very scared of how they would take it.
Fabiola decided to ask her mother to come with her. Her mother came. Upon seeing the ultrasound, Fabiola said, “My mom cried. This is when it really hit us. It made it real to me.”
Since Fabiola’s boyfriend was gone, she said she felt like she didn’t have a purpose. But, being pregnant with Evaluna, her baby girl, gave her a purpose and helped her be courageous enough to carry to term.
Fabiola recently came back to our center not only to introduce us her daughter, Evaluna; but also, to tell us that she was expecting baby #2 in summer 2018.
Fabiola has discovered, that even when life can be scary at times, it also is a great adventure!
Fabiola has discovered HOPE in the eyes of her daughter. She is also looking forward to the FUTURE because people in our community cared enough to pray, give and volunteer to have services made available to patients like Fabiola. We have a place for patients in need of HOPE to come. When Fabiola came in, she let us do an ultrasound for her newest edition.
Fabiola’s advice: “everyone in this situation should come to Hope.”
