March – INVEST in NEW INVESTORS! Everyone has heard the saying, “you have to spend money to make money”. It’s a business principle that contains truth, and it certainly applies to fundraising in the non-profit sector as well.
In the spring, most pregnancy clinics have a fundraising event. For Hope Women’s Centers, it is our annual banquet. This event is crucial to our financial well-being, and usually raises one-third of our annual budget. Beyond the bottom line, it also brings in new donors and gives us a venue to cast the vision of how our ministry changes and saves lives.
The cost of hosting a first-class event for 1,200 guests is about $125,000.00. This month, we are looking for INVESTORS who would help underwrite the costs of this event in order to bring in NEW INVESTORS!
