The six babies pictured are just a few of the 10,556 babies whose mothers came to Hope in the last five years and changed their minds about abortion.
This is why we do what we do. It is an expensive endeavor, but it is SO worth it!!
Your gifts and pledges keep the rent paid, the phones connected and the lights turned on so that we can be here to answer when she or he calls to ask, “How much are your abortions?”
With today’s healthcare crisis, women are scared to death about the expenses associated with a pregnancy and childbirth. Over 80% of our patients are single, so their fear is compounded by feeling helpless and alone. Because people like you work hard to raise money by walking, we can offer her the information she needs to make an informed decision about her pregnancy. We can educate her about resources to help her with financial challenges, and we can offer friendship, encouragement, and support in the name of Jesus.
The funds raised at the Walk For Life & Color Fun Run determine how the fourth quarter of our year ends, and how our vision for 2017 will unfold. This year, there is a lot riding on a successful Walk/Run. We want to launch a men’s crisis counseling program with trained men serving as patient advocates so that our patients’ partners can receive one-on one attention specifically regarding the pregnancy, their role in it, and how they can support a life decision.
We also want to open a new center in southwestern Broward County in 2017, which would increase our outreach by at least 33%. There is no pro-life evangelical medical clinic between our Davie Center and the HeartBeat Center in Hialeah. There are huge populations of women in our target age group throughout Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Weston, and Miramar who need compassionate and caring help. A successful Walk/Run can produce growth and increase the number of lives that are touched by Hope.
