Dark Before Dawn

Brianna is not new to the single mom scene. Brianna first discovered us 10 years ago when she found herself in an unplanned pregnancy. She carried her first child to term. However, after her first child Brianna found herself in another unplanned pregnancy which she terminated.

Almost 10 years after her first visit, Brianna came back for counseling for another unplanned pregnancy. Brianna said she was, “overwhelmed, nervous and happy since it was her first child [she’d be carrying to term] in 10 years.”

Of course, Brianna felt the pressure of being a single mom to now two girls, but she said,

The staff is wonderful. They helped me 10 years ago and that’s how I was able to go back. Hope is a beautiful and warm place.

Brianna said that losing her other children to abortion and miscarrying gave her the courage to choose life for her daughter. Sometimes it is darkest just before dawn.

Brianna and her daughters joined us recently for our annual photo shoot.

Brianna wanted to share her story and encourage other women who might be questioning the decision to carry their pregnancy to term.
