Fifteen Things to remember when you need a cup of hope…
Even the worst day ends and God’s mercies are new every morning!
God is always there and you can talk to Him even when there is no one else.
If you have hidden His word in your heart, He will always speak back to you.
If you have a friend, trust them to let you cry on their shoulder.
If you feel like you don’t have a friend, cast all your cares on Him; He cares for you.
Rest in the promise of God’s faithfulness.
You will either live through the worst of days or you won’t.
If you live through it, you can start all over tomorrow;
If you don’t, you will be in Heaven with Jesus.
Take care of yourself on those days when you feel like you can’t cope..
Take a walk in the park and reflect on God’s creation, eat right, exercise.
Take your vitamins and count your blessings.
Never ask “what else can go wrong” because there is always something else that can!
Lead yourself back to Jesus and let Him carry you through the day.
Have the courage to ask Him, “What do you want me to learn from this day?”
This is an excerpt from the book, A Cup of Hope, by Emilie Barnes. Simple wisdom can brighten our days!
